This five-day dance intensive is designed to help dancers strengthen technique, expand versatility, and build performance confidence across four dynamic styles: Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop.
Each day includes structured conditioning, technical training, choreography, and performance development. Throughout the camp, dancers will learn and refine **four short routines—one in each style—**giving them the opportunity to grow both technically and artistically.
By the end of the camp, dancers will have improved their technique, developed stronger musicality, and gained confidence performing multiple styles in a supportive and energetic environment.
Each day begins with a focused warm-up designed to activate muscles, improve flexibility, increase stamina, and prevent injury. Conditioning includes core strengthening, balance work, endurance training, and technique drills to prepare dancers for the day’s classes.
A short break for hydration, stretching, and mental preparation before the next session.
This extended session focuses on lyrical dance foundations including fluidity, control, extensions, turns, and emotional storytelling. Dancers will learn and refine a lyrical routine emphasizing musicality and expressive performance.
A 45-minute break for dancers to refuel and recharge before afternoon classes.
This class explores contemporary movement principles such as floor work, contractions, release technique, dynamic weight shifts, and improvisational elements. Across-the-floor combinations will help dancers build strength, control, and versatility while progressing choreography.
A short reset for hydration and preparation for the next style.
Jazz training emphasizes sharpness, precision, kicks, turns, leaps, and strong performance quality. Dancers will continue learning and refining a jazz routine that highlights both technical skill and stage presence.
A brief break for rest and hydration before the final high-energy session.
The day concludes with hip hop technique focusing on grooves, isolations, footwork, rhythm, and confidence. Dancers will develop and polish a hip hop routine emphasizing musicality, synchronization, and performance energy.
On the final day of camp, dancers will present a mini showcase performance for family and friends. During this informal performance, dancers will perform the four routines they’ve learned throughout the week, giving them the chance to demonstrate their growth, confidence, and versatility across multiple dance styles.
The showcase celebrates the dancers’ hard work and provides valuable performance experience in a supportive and encouraging environment.
