Algebra Readiness through Art! – for 7th-9th grade students looking to review pre-algebra basics.
Come review pre-algebra through fun and engaging art projects. Great for students who want to review pre-algebra topics before next school year, or for those going into pre-algebra who want to get ahead. We’ll play games, craft, build, and create our way through the basics of algebra in this fun and interactive camp. This camp will also highlight some executive function skills like academic organization and study planning.
Please send your student with healthy snacks! We will take brain-breaks!
Bio:
Lori Tierney has been working in education for 10 years. She has worked with preschool students, college students, and every age in-between. Lori is an Executive Function coach, an Independent Educational Consultant, and a math tutor. She loves helping students gain valuable life skills and independence through her academic coaching.
