Aerial Circus Camp (Ages 7–15) is a high-flying adventure where kids can climb, swing, and soar while building strength, confidence, and creativity. Campers will learn exciting, age-appropriate skills on aerial silks, aerial ropes, and aerial hoops, all taught by experienced instructors who prioritize safety, proper technique, and encouragement. Along with aerial arts, students will explore ground acrobatics, movement games, and performance skills, working together and cheering each other on. Perfect for both beginners and returning students, this camp blends fitness, imagination, and fun, giving kids a chance to feel proud, brave, and a little bit magical as they discover the joy of circus arts. 🎪✨

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

Joseph Simms
Joseph Simms joined The Movement Alliance in 2002. Joseph was a principal performer/soloist with AirAligned starting in 2004. Joseph has a background in the Martial Arts of Tae Kwon Do Jujitsu and most recently Aikido. Master classes include: Velocity in Seattle Washington, Conduit Dance Company in Portland Oregon, The Edge in Los Angeles, aerial intensives with Ingrid Hoffman L.A. and Isadora Duncan Dance Company. Joseph is currently working as a bodyworker, aerial and Pilates instructor and is the owner of Pilates Body in Nevada City. He currently leads the Aerial Classes at The Center for the Arts  in Grass Valley.
