The Greenberg Collection: Selections from Hindi Greenberg’s art collection from many years of supporting artists. Hindi personally owns over 400 pieces of artwork, many of them created by artists in Nevada County.

Weekly Painting Series

Each hour-and-a-half class is focussed on a painting of the day, taught in an easy to follow, step-by-step method, through which students learn the techniques and tools needed to create a completed canvas, as well as build overall skills and confidence. For Beginning and Intermediate Levels.

Off The Wall

A contemporary fiber arts exhibition with multiple artists featuring work that is three-dimensional, free-form, and utilizes fiber-based material: cloth, paper, wood, etc. Curated by Brynn Farwell and Lin Schiffner, the purpose of this exhibition is to break free of the rectangular, two-dimensional confines of wall-based work.

From The Center: Kyle Ledson

Kyle Ledson Since age 3, Kyle Ledson has embraced acoustic music as his very best friend. He first picked up a fiddle from the free fiddle music lessons offered to the kids at the Strawberry Music Festival. Every morning we’d wait in line to sign up for a slot with an instructor. The Kid’s on Bluegrass program at the Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival held by the California Bluegrass Association (CBA) was Kyle’s next exposure to kids playing instruments. This really inspired Kyle as he saw these teenagers really doing something with their music. Kyle participated in the Kid’s on Bluegrass program yearly hosted by Frank Sullivan and Kyle wrote a bluegrass song for the kids to play together called “Bluegrass Heart.” Mostly self taught, Kyle has learned the secret backroads of the fretboard and sharpened his flat picking skills to make the mandolin (and now guitar) sing. Creative Dance for Brain & Body

Saturdays, May 22 – June 26 • Single, Drop-In Classes taught by Azriel LaMarca. Designed for dancers of all levels, classes will start with a thorough warmup, heart opening QiGong exercises, and move on to simple techniques, choreography, and improvisation.
