Have fun and explore as we develop character and improv skills through theater games, movement, scene work, monologues and more! Final day will include performing a Showcase, highlighting some of our explorations.

• 4:45-5:45 / 10 participants
• Clothing must be appropriate & easy to move in.
• Closed-toe rubber soled shoes; No flip-flops or heavy boots.
• Family & Friends Showcase / March. 11 / 5:15-5:45 / Studio 2
• Complete required paperwork by Jan. 11, 2025 to secure enrollment.
About the Instructor
Paulette Gilbert has worked with children for nearly 30 years as a teacher, actor and director. She holds a BA in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Theatre from Louisiana Tech University. Her extensive experience with professional companies across the country includes a national tour with the Missoula Children’s Theatre. For the past 18 years she has taught and produced theatre for young people in Nevada County. Her directing credits include seven Children’s Theatre Ensemble productions for Center Stage Dance Studio, performed at the North Star House. She is a director for The Main Stage Playmakers. Past productions include A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol, The Princess and the Pea, The Velveteen Rabbit, Silver’s Secret: A Pirate Adventure, The Reluctant Dragon, ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas, and The Emperor’s New Clothes.
