Clay Creations Summer Camp
Join us for four fun-filled afternoons of creativity at Clay Creations Summer Camp, where young artists will explore the magic of handbuilt pottery! Over the course of four days (12:30–3:30 PM), campers will learn how to shape and sculpt clay using handbuilding techniques to create their very own mug, bowl, and spoon.
Beyond crafting functional pottery, we’ll use clay as a tool to explore mindfulness, patience, and manifestation—turning our dreams into reality, one sculpture at a time. Through shaping and molding, students will learn how art can be a meditative practice, helping them slow down, focus, and bring their creative visions to life.
In addition to their pottery pieces, campers will design and build their own miniature Zen garden, transforming clay into tiny landscapes, creatures, and wonders of their imagination. Once their masterpieces are complete, they’ll bring them to life with colorful underglazes before the final firing process.
All finished pieces will be ready for pickup the following Monday.
Space is limited, so reserve a spot today!
ABOUT LEILA
Leila Srouji creates handmade ceramics in her tuff-shed-turned-tiny-pottery-studio in Rough & Ready, California. She founded Tierra Madera Ceramics in 2019 after completing an artist residency in Cincinnati, Ohio.
