Week 1: Summer Art Sampler (morning)

Dates: June 16-20, 2025

Summer Art Sampler- Try it all! Bust boredom with a different project and art medium every day of this fun-filled week. Campers will explore drawing, painting, collage, and building a 3-D sculpture. There will be guided instruction and techniques shared, and of course plenty of freedom for kids to express their creativity. Supplies are included, and all levels of art experience are welcome. Ages 8+
NOTE: Can be purchased as a full day camp with Paint Like the Masters for $425* There will be a 30 minute supervised lunch break.
This consent form must be completed before the first day of camp.
Week 1: Paint Like the Masters (afternoon)

Dates: June 16-20, 2025
Time: 12:30pm – 3:30pm

In this camp, students will enjoy a little art history and personalizing or jumping off from, the inspiration of past great masters! Painting in acrylics on canvas, students will learn the basics. We will cover brushwork, color harmonies and mixing, how to model form using values and most importantly, how to begin finding their own artistic voice! Beginners are welcome and more advanced students can take their skills to the next level.

Week 2, June 23-June 27
Mornings: Drawing Workshop with Sarah Whooley
Time: 9:00a-12:00p
Ages: 8-14
Cost: $275 (materials included)
A class for children aged 8-14 who love to draw.
We will cover basic drawing techniques as well as explore individual expression in a fun and supportive environment.
Week 2, June 23-June 27
Afternoons: Drawing and Painting on Thrift Store Paintings with Nancy Schaefer
Time: 12:30-3:30
Ages: 8 – 14
Cost: $275 (materials included)
Students will bring their imaginations to life by painting right over top of kitschy, thrift store paintings! They will design, draw and paint their choice of cartoon characters, animals, manga, aliens, dinosaurs etc. into the scenes of their recycled paintings. They will learn image transfer techniques, and work out ideas in their sketchbooks, and complete two different paintings over the course of the week.

Drawing and Painting on Thrift Store Paintings with Nancy Schaefer

Experimental acrylic abstract painting lab for creative young artists! Students
will have the freedom to explore many types of painting with acrylics paints oncradled panel, canvas & paper. We will cover basic techniques and make fun discoveries, giving them the solid foundation that all artists utilize in their
creative expression! Beginners are welcome and more advanced students can
take their knowledge to the next level.

Mornings: Figurative Drawing Class
Time: 9am – 12pm
Ages: 13+
Cost: $275 (Materials Included)
An art camp for teens who want to delve into the exciting art of drawing people. We will explore different drawing techniques, character development, movement in 2-D art, drawing from life with a costumed model, and de-mystifying challenging subjects such as expression and hands.
This completed CONSENT FORM is required by June 1, 2025
