Come PLAY with us! (The final production is at 11:30 on the last class of each camp and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Regular class will meet from 9:00 AM through the performance on that Friday)
* Younger children age 7 with dance or theatre training will be considered for acceptance by the instructor into all sessions if there is space. “

Create Your Own “Broadway Dramedy” with poetry from Alice in Wonderland, Shel Silverstein, and a famous “Poetry Slam Artist” plus assorted mini- plays and Songs from the Sound of Music. And a performance on the last day of camp!
Tell the story and play all the parts, sing all the songs in “Dorothy’s Adventures in Munchkin Land ” from the Wizard of Oz with Glenda, the Wicked Witch, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, and The Cowardly Lion. And a performance on the last day of camp!

The silliest, shortest, funniest, most spectacular version of Romeo and Julliette ever performed, and it’s all in verse with songs from Grease, 1960’ s Rock and Roll, and Oliver.

“Androcles and the Lion” – a play in verse and loads of fun! What songs will we add? This class does involve more memorizing of lines then the other camps. It is more suitable for kids with more experience, or who are older.
Dinah Smith – SAG, AFTRA, BA Theatre, MAT Education. As a Director, Choreographer, Actor, Teacher/Coach, Dinah has worked in the Entertainment Industry and as a Performing Arts Educator/performer since the 70’s. She has directed, choreographed, or performed locally for Sierra Stages, LeGacy, Paul Emery, Placer Community Theatre, Lake Wildwood, Synthetic Unlimited, and other independent Producers. She has performed locally with Legacy, Placer Community Theatre, CATS, and Quest Theatre Works. Most recently she appeared as Claree in Steele Magnolias. As a certificated teacher, Dinah’s extensive teaching career (all in the performing arts) includes private, & public schools. Dinah has been teaching for the Center since 2014″
