Memoir Writing Workshop II (virtual)

VIRTUAL CLASS For those who have already participated in Susan Jane Gilman’s introductory workshop, “Telling Your Own Story” Memoir Writing Workshop that was held online by The Center in October 2020. Participants will continue to develop their skills and writing from Part I. This month-long follow-up course will pick up where Part I left off, and is customized to focus on participants creative needs and interests. It will include sessions on “showing not telling,” how to master the art of dialogue, using different types of language, and editing. There will be exercises, spirited discussions, light reading assignments, and workshops.
