Note from the Builders

On behalf of all of us at Tru-Line Builders we have appreciated the privilege to build out the premier performing arts center in Nevada County for The Center For the Arts. We have worked closely throughout this entire process with the design team to make this a beautiful facility for the whole community to enjoy. There have been many challenges to overcome in the process from a delayed start, weather early on, and significant drainage issues that were unforeseen. Our amazing team of subcontractors and suppliers have worked tirelessly to meet the demands of this challenging project and deliver a final product we know all will be proud of. In these final days on the home stretch every worker putting in the extra effort to get us across the finish line. We have drywallers, painters, tile installers, electricians, fire sprinkler installers, insulators, flooring installers and seating installers all working together at the same time. They are even putting in time on weekends to make sure we finish. On average there has been around 30 workers onsite on any given day for weeks now. I couldn’t be more thankful for all of their efforts. We have to also thank the City of Grass Valley, specifically the Building Department and inspectors, for working with us along the way. As we put together the final finishes and deal with last minute changes we appreciate the community’s patience because the final finished product will be a community gem that generations will enjoy. Art is enjoyable to everyone who appreciates the talent and gift of the artists. The talent on display by every worker, our employees, and the design team will be on display for you all to see and enjoy starting in early March and I can’t wait for you to see just how special this performing arts center will be.

Thank you,
