The issue of homelessness is a growing concern throughout the country. The Councils of Grass Valley and Nevada City have made it a top priority for 2017. Finding a manageable long-term solution will require creativity and collaboration among the many parties involved. In A Place to Call Home, The CoPassion Project has captured stories from homeless people, organizations serving the homeless population, government officials tasked with finding solutions, and concerned citizens. It is through these stories that perceptions can change, collaboration can thrive, and lasting solutions can emerge.
Giving Tuesday is a global celebration that’s all about giving back. Today people around the globe will unite for the common goal of celebrating generosity and giving back to the people and organizations that enrich our lives.
