About the Instructor: Danielle L M Johnson
Danielle grew up as a dancer. Jazz. Ballet. Tap. Modern. Hip Hop. But as she has gotten older; wiser, she realized that it’s not just about performing or moving around. The way our bodies move tells a lot about us. Where we hold tension. Where an old injury is. How technology has drastically affected our skeletal structure. Her initial plan from this information was to get certified in Somatic Movement. It was always just a plan to get around to someday when the time was right. The information to complete a certification still lives in her saved pages, but life has a special way of taking your hand and guiding you if you’ll let it. That being said, back in 2014, she ended up at a workshop through knowing someone who knew someone else that knew this other person. While at this workshop, she was introduced to the GYROKINESIS® Method. After years of back and forth, she eventually committed to beginning her journey to becoming certified. As of December 2019, she was finally an officially certified GYROKINESIS® instructor, and she can only see her learnings and teachings growing from there. She hopes that you find as much revitalization and mobility as she has through this movement.
