About the Donor Wall Sculpture:
Master craftswomen Monica Hughes and Sally Peterson have created a signature work of art for the new Center for the Arts. The music-inspired piece is featured on a wall that honors the generous donors whose financial and hands-on support made the new Center possible. The eight-foot-high sculpture resembles a cello, but is made up of discarded musical instrument parts, wind and string, donated by two local instrument repairmen.
