Black Tie or Cocktail Attire
Lolo Gervais has a well-earned reputation for pushing musical boundaries and playing the unexpected. Following in the traditions of Post Modern Jukebox, Squirral Nut Zippers and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, this award winning and inventive Northern California-based group stirs up a mix of classic modern pop tunes into a Neo Vintage Jazz soundtrack. The band’s fun and inventiveness onstage can’t hide the players’ obvious rich experience and love of jazz from swinging 1920’s to funky 70’s grooves, they create danceable and unexpected new classic versions from the songbook of modern pop standards. They have just released their 4th album.
Pop Rocks is the ultimate dance band: tons of current high energy hits, mixed with the classics from the 80s, 90s, and today. It’s a song list to keep you on the dance floor all night long from Bon Jovi to Bruno Mars and Whitney Houston, they dig deep into classic dance songs and execute them with style and enthusiasm.
