On March 31st, 2022 The Center for the Arts is offering “A Night Out’ for families and educators. It is a free event that will provide an opportunity for our community to learn about our art programs, after school classes and workshops, the new children’s theater company, and will demonstrate how The Center is a critical resource in providing opportunities for art exploration in our community. The event will be held from 5:30-6:30pm and will include special guest Scott Lay, Superintendent of Schools. The other presenters will be Holly Pettitt, Director of Nevada City School of the Arts, Amber Jo Manuel Executive Director of the Center for the Arts, and Kimberly Ewing, Arts Education Coordinator, Superintendent of Schools. Refreshments will be provided. For the night of the event The Center for the Arts will also be providing free on-site childcare with pizza and snacks for the children.
