MONDAYS
In this beginning drawing class for pre-teens we will be working on developing our skills in many aspects of art- knowledge of materials, shading, perspective, creativity, and collaboration with attention to each students pace and personal goals personal goals.
THURSDAYS
This class is for teens who love to draw and want to improve their skills. Students will enjoy Manga and figure drawing, 3D shading with graphite and charcoal and working in color with two teaching-artists who will team up to instruct this 8 week session.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Sarah Whooley was born into the arts, growing up in Nevada County in a family of professional musicians and performers. She is a painter and pastel artist whose work is often exhibited and sold locally. Sarah has been an active member of our local art scene for many years, facilitating drawing groups that meet weekly. She teaches in various mediums to all ages and offers privates classes. Her gentle kindness and supportive enthusiasm helps learning take root for aspiring artists of all ages!
