This year will be Art Works Gallery 10th Anniversary. Art Works is celebrating by raising funds for The Center’s Youth Arts Programs & Scholarships.
The fundraiser is based in a community art project, the 10×10 ART Celebration.
- Pick up a blank 10×10 canvas at Artworks Gallery, 113 Mill St. Grass Valley during business hours, 10 AM – 6 PM. Canvases are available for a donation to Center for the Arts. (Average donation has been $15.)
- Complete your canvas in your unique style, any media of your choice (paint, collage, sketch, etc.) Everyone is welcome, all ages and abilities. Have fun creating!
- Print yourself a form. (Forms are found here also available at the gallery.)
- Attach the bottom part of the form to the back of your canvas and return it to the Art Works gallery April 2 – 15th The sooner the better! It will be added to a beautiful and growing community window mosaic at Art Works and at The Center for the Arts.
- If you choose, your art can be for sale to the public, all proceeds go to CFA Children’s Arts programs. Indicate your preference on your form.
- Join us to celebrate your contribution at Art Works 10th Anniversary Party: May 16 from 3 PM – 6 PM at Art Works Gallery. Tell your friends to come out to the party too – all are welcome!
- Unsold art canvases will be available for you to take home after 6:00 PM on May 16-17
- NOTE: Art canvases not picked up by May 30th cannot not be stored, so please have them picked before May 30th
