“This is my dream band!”  – Ronnie Montrose

RMBR was born from a shared history and love of the incredible music and legacy of Ronnie Montrose, the surviving members of The Ronnie Montrose Band, Dan McNay, Steve Brown, and Randall Scoles asked former Ronnie Montrose Band alumni and guitarist Tal Morris (CCR, Huey Lewis and the News, Ronnie Montrose, Sons of Champlin) and also Chuck Terpo (Gamma) to join them to play on the bonus features segment for the Ronnie Montrose Tribute DVD. The session went so well it was clear the music had to live on and they were the ones to do it.

Each of the members of RMBR were hand picked by Ronnie himself and it shows in the incredible detail, power, and respect that Dan, Steve, Randy, Chuck and Tal have playing the hits by one of the most important architects of modern rock music, Ronnie Montrose!! So come out and celebrate with them this great man as they honor their mentor by kicking out the power of Montrose and Gamma music for all the fans to enjoy!!

The band’s mission as RMBR is to honor the legend and dear friend Ronnie Montrose as a player, a writer, and a force in the history of classic rock music. Ronnie Montrose was the composer, the leader, and they were his band. He contributed to many amazing songs throughout his 40+ year career such as Free Ride, Brown Eyed Girl and Frankenstein. He wrote, and co wrote, brilliant tunes such as Rock Candy, Make it Last, Voyager, Space Station #5, Rock the Nation, Bad Motor Scooter and many more. Ronnie has passed on, but his music and intention live on through his legacy, and the band. They will deliver a kick ass authentic rock show.
