Guest Vocalist – LUKE McMASTER
Luke McMaster has come full circle in the crazy world of the music business.  Formerly half of the acclaimed duo McMaster & James, Luke experienced the rock star life of studio\”™s, videos and touring from a young age.  From Chantelle Kreviazuk to Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, Luke cut his teeth with some of the biggest acts of the day. After McMaster & James ran it\”™s course Luke\”™s natural gift for songwriting led him to Toronto, New York and L.A. to work with a wide variety of international talent.Producing and writing for everything from Rihanna to Rock, Luke gained critical experience behind the studio walls as he figured out what his next move would be as, where his true passion lies, a performer.Luke is forever the prolific writer, and songs like the smash hit \”œHeartbreak Coverup\” by Jesse Labelle are often the results of collaborations for songs that don\”™t necessarily suit his style as a singer but become hits for someone else.It was during one such collaboration when the best of both of Luke’s worlds inevitably collided.  Luke had long been a fan of Grammy nominated American piano sensation Jim Brickman (Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Olivia Newton-John etc.) and was introduced to him through their mutual friend acclaimed singer/songwriter Marc Jordan.Says Luke, \”œJim Brickman and I met at such a fortuitous time.  He was starting a new record, and, being an instrumentalist, he\”™s always looking for up and coming singers to collaborate with.  I was such a fan of how he helped develop artists like Lady Antebellum and was so excited to work with Jim… I knew we could do something incredible.\”Luke got together with Jim before one of his sold out shows at the Warner Theatre in Erie Pennsylvania and between Jim’s sound check and the show, \”œGood Morning Beautiful\” was born.\”œWe knew we had something special right away,\” said Brickman when asked about the song.  \”œIt was such an obvious single and worked so perfectly for both of our albums.  It was effortless for us to write it, which usually means it was meant to be\”.As luck would have it, Luke was just putting the finishing touches on his own album \”œAll Roads\” and \”œGood Morning Beautiful\” was the perfect first single he’d been hoping for.Luke will be touring with Jim Brickman for his Holiday tour in the United States and Canada.\”œI can\”™t wait to tour from coast to coast and share my music with people.  It\”™s been a long road, but it\”™s led me back to my true passion\”¦performing, on stage, to my fans.  It\”™s why I love the title track from my album \”œAll Roads\”.  Life has truly mirrored art for me, and I couldn\”™t be happier.\”Watch for Luke\”™s first single “Good Morning Beautiful” from his forthcoming album “All Roads” fall of 2012.

Brickman began playing piano at the age of five and studied music at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music. He founded his own advertising music company in 1980, writing commercial jingles for such advertisers as McDonald\”™s, Pontiac and Kellogg\”™s.

Brickman has received international acclaim as a concert performer, taking his popular live concerts to more than 125 cities each year. His Jim Brickman Cruises have become an annual hot-ticket event. He\”™s teamed up with American Greetings, lending original music to create some of their best-selling e-Cards, and is also featured on StarGreetz, a new internet greeting phenomenon.

Other artistic endeavors include a popular weekly radio show, Your Weekend; two best-selling books, Simple Things and Love Notes; debuts at Carnegie Hall and the White House; and international touring from Spain to Thailand. Brickman lends a hand to many charitable foundations for children, including Autism Speaks, UNICEF and Camp Heartland. A scholarship was recently established in his name at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Music is the soundtrack of life, love or even our everyday adventures, and Jim has given us 15 wonderful years. His songs have done everything from ease the pain to captivate people falling in love. It\”™s amazing to think that something as simple as a melody can have a lasting effect on emotions and lives.
