Barbara will speak about and demonstrate how to refresh and transform one room or an entire house.

Barbara Wirth has been a professional Interior Designer for 34 years. She is certified by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is a California Certified Interior Designer (CID). These designations indicate that design is her passion, as well as her talent.

Her specialty is residential interior design. Her mission is to contribute to transformations, whether by taking a client’s current home, furnishings, and accessories from a look that’s tired or boring to a look and feeling that’s pleasing, or by adding her wisdom, products and vast expertise to a project when the client remodels or builds a new home.

More than your average flea market or rummage sale, this event will gather together a broad array of fine artwork, jewelry, crystal, silver, china, exceptional furniture and rugs, musical instruments in working condition (pianos, violins, flutes, guitars, etc.), wonderful pottery, quality vintage or ‘wearable art’ clothing, and precious or prestigious specialty items.

SOCIAL: The Grandes Dames meet for quarterly dinners for fun, food and the company of other arts-oriented women and guests.

EDUCATIONAL: The Grandes Dames are hosting "Romancing the Arts" - a series of talks, workshops and hands-on programs pairing arts education and personal creativity.

SUPPORT: The Grandes Dames offer volunteer services at the Center for the Arts including education outreach programs for kids.
