Del Corazon Dance Troupe

20170121_105838

As a company, we lean heavily on expressing directly from the heart, opening our audience to a soul awakening experience and community building. With a heavy team focus, D.C. will continue to grow as a collective unit while also working on  individual perspectives of love and how it ripples out within their community.

Through out rehearsal there is open discussion on how we work with and treat others. The mantra of Del Corazón is to remain uplifting, in and outside of practice. Other discussion topics include social justice,
personal, physical and mental health and how to support other dancers.
D.C. travels and trains together outside of our base location whenever we can and shows up for local artists by attending shows around town.
Del Corazon trains 4-10 hours a week and There are at least two lead instructors in each rehearsal. We host master teachers, young teachers in training and guest choreographers as often as possible, as we want our dancers to receive quality in the variety of their instruction while building a safe and encouraging teacher training environment and leadership program.
Strength of heart, mind and body are the primary focus, as we aim to soften perspective, cultivate compassionate and raise awareness to the power of love and connection in our community.

Zed and Parker are the EZ PZ Jugglers

Parker Chow and Zed Friedman are the EZ PZ Jugglers. The pair of Grass Valley middle schoolers toss clubs, balls, rings, Chinese yo-yos, and jokes through the air. They also love to throw things at each other, preferably while moving through space on unicycles or hoverboards.
Their clean comedy pokes fun at each other, the juggling props, and ridiculousness of life in general.
