Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is a GRAMMY winning hip hop artist specializing in high grade family friendly funk. When his daughter Saki turned 5, he switched lanes from a nationally touring rapper and producer who rocked the clubs at midnight to an internationally touring family bandleader who rocks theaters at noon! He taught his daughter to rap and they toured together for most of a decade, sharing the stage and the adventures. Ten years and five albums later, 23 Skidoo has garnered two GRAMMY nominations and one GRAMMY win, an ongoing string of nine #1 hits on SiriusXM, glowing reviews in TIME, USA Today and on NPR’s “All Things Considered”, and has rocked the crowds at Lollapalooza, the Smithsonian, the Winnipeg Folk Fest in Canada and the Buddy Daddy Family Bash in New Delhi, India.
Izzi Tookinsky is an award winning juggler, storyteller, comedian and author. He mixes wisdom and fun, intelligence and humor, laughter and education and presents at schools, festivals, and corporate events worldwide. He has written two books The Turkey Prince and Juggling Without Struggling, and published work in magazines and newspapers in America and Australia.
AirAligned aerial dance group directed by Tresa Honaker will present “The Mirror”. The first of AirAligned’s 2017 professional season. This incredibly FUN duet will include aerial dance with aerial silks and aerial hoops. “The Mirror” is a beautiful fantasy for the child in all of us!
Marni Marshall and Sophie Wingerd are principal performers with AirAligned and they will be bringing to Family Fun Day this amazing performance … plus a special on stage participation for the audience that you won’t want to miss!
AirAligned invites you to ask yourself “What would it be like to step through your mirror into a magical place?

RIGHT PLACE, WRITE RHYMES is a freeform event that makes the best use of time based on attendance, both in terms of numbers and specifically who shows up.
Essentially, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, an accomplished freestyle rhymer, rocks accessible, funky beats through a sound system and rhymes on a microphone to both excite enthusiasm and teach technique, spicing the workshop with freestyles to keep the energy moving. Between these mini performances, he and his band work the crowd individually, helping them use worksheets that we’ve created to break rhyme writing down into a few easy steps. Any motivated and literate person will be able to write a rhyme within the space of 30 minutes or so, and if they feel like it, they’ll even be able to get on the mic and kick their brand new rhyme to the crowd over a fresh beat!
