The Center for the Arts is proud to present Nevada County dance communities' annual showcase - The Starz Show. This two-weekend extravaganza features over 230 dancers and 14 organizations including dance schools, amateur and professional performers presenting pieces in ballet, Hula, swing, hip hop, modern, jazz, lyrical, African dance and MORE.

A portion of the proceeds from the Starz show is set aside in a scholarship fund for developing dance students.
The Center for the Arts also invites you to apply for a dance scholarship funded by
“The Friends of Marilyn Faulkenberry”. This merit-based scholarship will be presented to
a dancer with a demonstrated commitment to dance and strong artistic goals for the future.
