A Fine Arts Immersion Experience!
Students enjoy exploration in a variety of art mediums with quality instruction
by some of Nevada County’s most professional artists and art instructors.

The Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the return of the Academy of Creative Arts, a special art immersion experience designed for ages 8-17. This exciting program gives youngsters an opportunity to paint, draw and sculpt with some of Nevada County's best instructors and artists, along with art materials that can be found in any working studio.

The curriculum is designed to give each participant an opportunity to excel in their favorite medium, while providing the basics of art and exposure to new media, techniques and tools. Daily classes, held 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday, will include watercolor painting, drawing in several mediums, three-dimensional paper sculpture, acrylic painting, brown bag paper maché, and collage.

The fee per week is $200, $185 for Center members.
