Phil’s Guild is a group of 8 local artists who enjoy painting together and have each been mentored in the past by Phil Brown, a renowned landscape painter whose focus is the Yuba River. This exhibit includes 40 paintings and pastels of nature by this accomplished and diverse group and is intended as a tribute to Phil.

Here are examples of each artist’s work:

Debi Savoy, a pastel artist, is featuring her study of Edwards Crossing Nevada City, during winter, spring, summer, and fall
Jill Young is always surprised by the work her spontaneous painting process produces.
